Magellan Health Services of Arizona is working to transform the behavioral health care system in central Arizona. Our goal is to better serve those in our care who are seeking hope and recovery by building a community-driven model of behavioral health care in central Arizona-- a model focused on recovery and resiliency as well as accountability and superior outcomes. In addition, in partnership with our network of provider's we have made it our mission to create an integrated system of care that achieves greater health and wellness for those challenged with severe mental illness.

Applying For or Renewing Your AHCCCS Benefits

You may be eligible to receive medical benefits through AHCCCS, Arizona’s Medicaid Agency. You can apply for medical benefits online through Health-e Arizona at The Health-e-Arizona system is an electronic system that allows you to apply for AHCCCS benefits online. There is no cost to apply. You can also use the Health-e Arizona website,, to renew your AHCCCS benefits.

Medical Necessity Criteria 
We are committed to the philosophy of providing treatment at the most appropriate, least intensive level of care necessary to provide safe and effective treatment and meet the individual patient's biopsychosocial needs.

The purpose of the member handbook is to help you better understand what services are available to you and your family members and to help answer any questions you may have.

Outcomes360 is a program that service recipients, caregivers and providers use to monitor and assess an adult or child recipient's health and recovery.

The pharmacy section provides tools and information so you can learn more about the medications you are taking.

Reporting Fraud and Abuse
Fraud and abuse of behavioral health services is a crime. Learn more about it here.
